Roe Deer

The roe deer hunting in Romania is strictly regulated and organized only within officially approved hunting seasons, based on annual quotas issued by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests (MEWF).

Season:

Males: 1st of May -15^th of October

Females and fawns: 1^st of September- 15^th of February

Best period:

Males: 1^st of May -15^th of June and during the rut: 1^st – 15^th of August.

Females and fawns: 1^st of December-15^th of February.
